Digiday Media presents Careers in Media and How to Get Them
On January 23rd, Digiday Media will be presenting a webinar on Careers in Media and How to Get Them in partnership with the New York State Mentoring Program, which works with New York State Public High Schools.
In this 45-minute panel, students will hear about different jobs available in the Media business and learn valuable tips on how to get their dream job. Moderated by Jill Manoff, Glossy Editor-in-Chief, the panel will feature five Digiday Media employees from different areas of the company. Some of the areas of topics we will be discussing include job skills, networking, career advice from employees at Digiday, finding a job and more.
Also through this webinar, Digiday Media will be offering one of the students an internship for next summer, where they will rotate through different departments during the 6-week duration of the internship.
More about the New York State Mentoring Program: Founded by Former First Lady Matilda Cuomo in 1984, the mentoring program seeks to create mentor/mentee relationships for children in schools, foster care, and the court system. Mentors are positive role models who guide youth with respect, structure, and compassion to build positive life skills. Learn more here.
